Students in 4th grade created vases and flowers using mixed media techniques. First, they designed paper by experimenting with a variety of materials such as paint, salt, and oil pastel. Next they collaged a background, vase, and flowers. Each bouquet is as unique as the student artist!
3rd grade students took on the challenge of the human figure. First, they created quick gesture sketches of classmates in motion. Next, they sculpted a figure in motion. We were inspired by this lesson: http://dolvinartknight.blogspot.com/2014/01/foil-figure-sculpture.html
